The first EP from BLANK2Y’s K2Y series, named “K2Y I: Confidence,” and its first single, “Thumbs Up,” were released on May 24, 2022.
With the extended play “K2Y II: Passion [Fuego],” which serves as the second instalment of the group’s trilogy, BLANK2Y just made their first reappearance. The album’s title song is “Fuego (Burn It Up),” while the B-side tracks are “Fuego (Fearless)” and “I Wish – Fan Song.”
Siwoo, Sodam, Louis, Youngbin, Sungjun, U, DK, Mikey, and Donghyuk the nine members made their debut on May 24,2022, with their mini album ‘K2Y I: Confidence [Thumbs Up],’ which features the title track “Thumbs Up.”
The powerful appeal and dynamic performance suited to the excellent sound growth and fire intensity of the group should be felt by K-pop fans, especially K2YWE, through this song.
Expectations are already high on whether BLANK2Y. Let’s see the boys will be able to impress the public as a global popular boy group through this album. In the meanwhile, fans praised the music video for “FUEGO (Burn It Up),” which gave viewers the impression of witnessing a movie trailer-like MV with a huge perspective tale.
The group was first presented as KEYSTONE BOYZ in November 2021, with the remaining members being revealed one at a time until February.
They have promised to soon make another comeback, and we, the K2YWEs, are already looking forward to it.
Their commanding and charismatic personality are carried into ‘FUEGO,’ which is taken from a Spanish term for fire and is intended to convey their enthusiasm. They work together with animation in the song’s music video to create a dance performance that features crashes, burns, splashes, and other dramatic events.
The group’s aim is to win the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.
