BLACKPINK will be the first K-pop act to perform in London’s British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park!
Blackpink is slated to play at the American Express Festival on July 2. The general sale for the concert, whose supporting lineup will be announced later, will begin on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. BST.
Blackpink made their spectacular return to the stage last week, with the first night of the Born Pink Tour in Seoul, South Korea. The trio returned to shape by performing at the KSPO Dome, where they also launched their inaugural tour, In Your Area.
“We haven’t performed in front of so many of our Blinks in a long time.” “I’m overjoyed to witness not just our Korean Blinks, but also Blinks from other countries,” Lisa stated during the presentation. “It’s really significant for us to begin our journey in Seoul.” We made some blunders because of anxiety after four years, but I hope you still had fun,” Jisoo continued.
Blackpink will perform in the United States later this month before flying to Europe for headlining performances in London, Barcelona, Cologne, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Amsterdam. The Born Pink tour concludes in December, but by the time the band takes the stage at BST Hyde Park, they’ll have worked out all of the kinks and concerns they’ve experienced since their return.
Blackpink will make their UK festival debut just over four years after Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo made history by being the first K-pop girl group to play at Coachella, as documented in their Netflix documentary Light Up The Sky.
BLACKPINK will make their festival debut in the United Kingdom on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
