A romantic movie and a bucket of popcorn are the perfect way to spend time with your Valentine. People love romance and happy endings, and nothing gives them more of a guilty pleasure than a good romantic story. Here are some best romantic Bollywood movies that you and your partner can watch at home on Valentine’s Day.  

1. Jab We Met (Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s Movie)

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan played the main roles in the film, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali. This movie was definitely one of a kind and should be seen by all true romantics. Love comes to you when you least expect it, as shown in the movie. The song “Jab We Met” is sure to move people who are in love.

2. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone’s Movie)

One of the most popular movies is Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin. Movie was directed by Ayan Mukerji. It has lots of stories about friendship and love. When Bunny (Ranbir) comes to Naina (Padukone) for good and asks her to marry him in the last scene, our hearts always melt.

3. Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra’s Movie)

In “Barfi!,” a deaf-mute man and a woman with autism fall in love. The story had a lot of emotional parts and showed how love can look past what other people see as weird. In the movie, Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) and Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor) are a strange pair. Remember the scene where Ranbir Kapoor tried to see how much Priyanka Chopra cared about him. This movie showed me a new way to think about love. The movie was directed by Anurag Basu.

4. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar’s Movie)

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan  is love story of a gay couple who are trying to get one of their parents to accept their relationship. It stars Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Gajraj Rao, and Neena Gupta. Movie was directed by Hitesh Kewalya.

5. Vivah (Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao’s Movie)

Vivah is One of my all-time Favorite movies. This movie is about how two people go from being engaged to getting married. Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Arora did a great job showing the nervousness, cute innocence, and all the other emotions that any couple going through an arranged marriage goes through. The movie was directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya.

6. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza)

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na Movie is about Friendship and love Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza, Aditi and her best friend Jai fall in love, but think they are just friends. The movie was directed by Abbas Tyrewala.  In the end, both characters realize how much they love each other. When Aditi moves to another country, Jai realizes that he needs to do his big thing. He stops her in an exciting way at the airport and makes a proposal that everyone will remember.

7. Ram Leela (Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Movie)

Ram Leela was the first movie of the power couple of the industry Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh did together. It was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Based on Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet,” the movie is about how Ram (Ranveer Singh) and Leela (Deepika Padukone), who come from rival families Rajadi and Sanera, but fall in love, and how they have to make a sacrifice for their love.

8. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Fawad Khan’s Movie)

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Fawad Khan. Movie was directed by Karan Johar. The audience could relate to the movie because it was about one-sided love, which most of us have felt in some way. The story is about Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) and Alizeh (Anushka Sharma), who become friends. Ayan falls in love with Alizeh, but she doesn’t feel the same way. The story is about how he deals with his one-sided relationship. We laughed, cried, and fell in love with the people in this movie. Not just the movie’s plot, but also its songs, were catchy and popular.

Aashiqui 2 starred Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. Movie was directed by Mohit Suri. This movie is a classic love story that shows how love can be pure, strong, selfless, and full of feelings. Rahul Jaykar, played by Aditya Roy Kapur, is a singer who is losing his fame. He falls in love with Aarohi, played by Shraddha Kapoor, who is a bar singer. Then he helps her become a famous singer, but his drinking puts their relationship in danger. This movie is a must-see if you like intense love stories.

10. Khoobsurat  (Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan’s Movie)

This movie will always be our favorite romantic movie because it stars Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan. Khoobsurat, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, actually depicts our dream of marrying our prince charming. Dr. Mili (Sonam Kapoor) is a physiotherapist appointed by Rajasthan king Shekhar Singh Rathore (Aamir Raza). She then meets his opposite son Vikram (Fawad Khan). The narrative continues as Mili, a carefree girl, and Vikram, a refined prince, fall in love.
