RRR, the masterpiece of SS Rajamouli, broke previous records of popularity. The movie has received two nominations for the prestigious Golden Globe Awards, which is one more accolade for it.
The movie has received nominations for Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu. Kantara, Chhello Show, and Gangubai Kathiawadi were a few more contenders. On January 10, 2023, the Golden Globe Awards will be presented in Los Angeles.
The creators of RRR shared the most recent honor on their official Instagram account and stated, “We are very grateful to share that #RRRMovie made it to the nominations of #GoldenGlobes for the Best Picture- Non-English Language and the Best Original Song.”
Celebrities including A.R. Rahman, Karan Johar, Prabhas, Alia Bhatt, and Jr. NTR have gathered with RRR fans to celebrate the movie’s nomination for a Golden Globe. SS Rajamouli directed the historical action picture. Two categories have nominated the movie: Best Non-English Motion Picture and Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.
Baahubali actor Prabhas also congratulate to director SS Rajamouli and team and wrote on social media “Feeling so proud as #RRR gets nominated for the #GoldenGlobes Awards. Hearty congratulations to @ssrajamouli garu, @jrntr, @alwaysramcharan, and the entire team of @rrrmovie for this achievement.”
Karan Johar put story on his Instagram account and wrote: “Go team RRR #GoldenGlobes. This is just incredible and beginning of amazement ahead”.
Alia Bhatta also shares screenshot of the announcement on her story with heart emojis. Jr NTR, also tweeted, “Delighted that #RRRMovie has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Globe Awards! Congratulations to all of us… Looking forward.”
On Twitter, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur posted “The path to the Oscars for RRR becomes clearer. But I still don’t get why the Golden Globes hold on to a category called ‘Best film in a non-English language?? RRR deserves to be in the best film category. Period. Congratulations @ssrajamouli.” In reaction to his tweet, music maestro AR Rahman wrote on Twitter, “Good luck to the RRR team.” The legendary musician AR Rahman responded to his tweet on Twitter by writing “Good luck to the RRR team.”

SS Rajamouli was the director of the all-India blockbuster film RRR. It features the Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris and centers on the lives of Indian rebels Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju.
