Jung Kook of BTS has released his new single ‘Dreamers,’ which will serve as the FIFA World Cup 2022 anthem.
The upbeat track was made available online ahead of the big opening ceremony on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. IST. The singer, who is one of seven members of the South Korean boy band, will perform the song LIVE on stage with Qatari singer Fahad Al-Kubaisi at 9 p.m. IST.
The ‘Butter’ hitmaker will be joined by former ‘Take That’ star Robbie Williams, Craig David, and Tinie Tempah when the tournament kicks off later this evening before Qatar’s match against Ecuador.
BTS Army spotted the singer having fun around the place before the song’s release. Jung Kook was happy to spread smiles by riding roller coasters, going to the amusement park, and waving to fans.
According to a tweet from the official BTS account,”Proud to announce that Jungkook is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Stay tuned!”
